This breathtaking homemade reggae, Jazz, old-time bedtime Anansi story, and more will knock your socks off; “the goose is loose,” as Father Goose hits you with a 180° on his playful, down-to-earth EP. Whether you are in your living room, game night vibes, or on a road trip, this is just plain old fun. Denise Durrant (Lady Asha) offers her vocals as Aso in the bedtime song “Anansi Story” to put you in the right mood. Little Goose delivers the way only he could, with passion that touches the soul. Father Goose taps into a little Rankin Don with sweet reggae flavor that makes it all complete.

“Father Goose’s ‘7’, a household favorite, is surely a family jam session. Invite some friends over and dance to the beat ‘til your shoes fall off your feet. A total socks party,” says (the Goose man) Wayne Rhoden.
Many secret sounds in this EP are reminiscent of his childhood, for instance the crowing of a rooster, cricket sounds and more giving you a true vibe of the islands.

“7” is a digital-only release and is available now at iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, and more…

The title track “7” is a friendly, energetic, old-school UK dance hall style of rhythm with Father Goose tapping into Rankin Don’s vintage speed rapping lyrics, and will have you jumping all over your couch.

“I Am A Smooth Goose” playfully pokes fun at the other birds on a beat with a Jazz twist, the Goose makes his own Anansi bedtime story for Little Goose before he gets tucked in for bed.
Also there is a non-threatening, high-energy Jamaican reggae/dancehall track called “Get Loose”.
